Thousands of Australian students walk out of school in anti-Hanson protests

Thousands of high school and university students across Australia walked out of classes on Thursday to protest against politician Pauline Hanson. Demonstrations took place in every major Australian city and several smaller locations, organised by university unions under the banner of standing up against the far right. Calls from school authorities urging students to remain in class were largely ignored.
