Poland's deposit system expands: 4,000 new reverse vending machines with card refunds

At least 4,000 new reverse vending machines for returning deposit-scheme packaging are set to appear across Poland in the coming years. The key new feature is the ability to receive refunds directly to a payment card, eliminating the need to visit a shop till. Machines with this functionality are already being installed, with the bulk of the rollout still to come.
