Nawrocki stalls promotions for Polish intelligence chiefs for three months
The office of President Karol Nawrocki has been sitting on promotion requests for the heads of the ABW domestic intelligence agency and both the civilian and military foreign intelligence services since May — a delay of three months. The applications were submitted partly in recognition of the services' role in securing the release of Andrzej Poczobut from a Belarusian labour camp. No official explanation for the delay has been given.
