Fugitive Romanowski reportedly files for safe-conduct letter from pro-Russian Transnistria

A request for a safe-conduct letter protecting him from arrest has been filed with the Warsaw District Court, allegedly signed by fugitive former Deputy Justice Minister Marcin Romanowski. Romanowski is reportedly staying in Tyraspol, the capital of the pro-Russian breakaway region of Transnistria in Moldova. Prosecutors will investigate whether the filing is genuine or a provocation.
