Romanowski in Transnistria? Lawyer files for safe-conduct letter

Lawyer Bartosz Lewandowski, defending former Deputy Justice Minister Marcin Romanowski, confirmed that his client has filed for a safe-conduct letter and submitted a declaration stating he is outside EU territory. A letter sent to the Warsaw District Court was postmarked from Tiraspol — the capital of the pro-Russian separatist region of Transnistria in Moldova.
