Włodarczyk misses European Championships podium by half a metre — finishes fourth

Anita Włodarczyk finished fourth in the women's hammer throw at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, missing the podium by just half a metre. Her compatriot Aleksandra Śmiech placed eighth in the same event.
