Total solar eclipse crosses Spain — millions watch historic moment

A total solar eclipse passed across a large part of Spain on Wednesday evening for the first time in over a century. For several dozen seconds the Moon completely covered the Sun's disc, plunging the sky into darkness just before sunset. Millions of people across the country witnessed the rare astronomical event.
