Saudi Arabia doubles oil exports via Mediterranean to dodge Red Sea attacks

Oil exports through Egypt's Mediterranean port of Sidi Kerir have more than doubled, with most crude originating from Saudi Arabia, according to data from Kpler. The rerouting is a direct response to ongoing threats against tankers in the Red Sea. The Mediterranean route allows Saudi Arabia to bypass the dangerous shipping corridor.
