Poll: Fewer than 40% of Russians trust Putin — far less than official figures claim

A survey by the Institute for the Study of Russia's Conflict and Analysis found that fewer than 40% of Russians trust Vladimir Putin. This is significantly lower than figures presented in official Kremlin-backed polls.
