WHO slams Trump executive order to cut childhood vaccines in the US

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and senior officials criticised an executive order signed by President Trump on Monday that calls for reducing the number of vaccines recommended for US children. The order also pushes for replacing combination vaccines — including the MMR shot — with single-pathogen alternatives. The WHO called the move politically motivated and contrary to the best available science.
