Gawkowski after MyDr data leak: freeze your PESEL number — it takes 5 seconds
Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski warned that the MyDr cyberattack may have exposed PESEL numbers, names, addresses, and sensitive medical data including prescriptions, medications and diagnoses. He urged all Poles to immediately freeze their PESEL number, describing the process as taking just five seconds. He also announced a tool to be launched allowing individuals to check whether their data was compromised.
