Łosiak and Bryl end Polish losing streak with first advance at Beach Volleyball Europeans

Bartosz Łosiak and Michał Bryl became the first Polish pair to advance to the knockout stage of the European Beach Volleyball Championships in Stare Jabłonki, defeating a Swiss duo. Earlier on the same day, five Polish women's pairs and four men's pairs all suffered defeats. The Paris Olympians will still compete for the top spot in their group.
