WHO warns Congo's Ebola outbreak could become deadliest ever

The World Health Organization has warned that the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, caused by the rare Bundibugyo virus strain, is on track to become the deadliest in recorded history. There are currently no approved vaccines or treatments for this particular strain. The WHO is calling for urgent measures to contain the spread.
