Simple blood test developed by UCLA can detect multiple cancers at once

Researchers at UCLA have developed a blood test that scans DNA signals for traces of multiple cancers, liver diseases, and signs of organ damage — and can indicate where trouble may be developing in the body. Early results suggest the inexpensive approach brings medicine closer to a single test capable of detecting a wide range of diseases at an early stage. Early detection significantly increases the chances of successful treatment.
