Ordinary WiFi identifies people with near-100% accuracy — no cameras needed

Researchers have shown that unencrypted signals routinely exchanged between WiFi devices and routers can generate radio-based images of people and identify them within seconds. In tests with 197 participants, the system achieved nearly 100% accuracy regardless of viewing angle or gait. The finding raises serious privacy concerns, as ordinary WiFi networks could become powerful surveillance tools without any cameras or special sensors.
