Lawrence and Daly dropped from England's central contracts ahead of Rugby World Cup

England head coach Steve Borthwick has dropped Ollie Lawrence and Elliot Daly from his 25-man central contracts list, a year before the Rugby World Cup campaign begins. Both were prominent during this year's Six Nations but missed the summer's Three Nations Championship matches. Alex Coles and Asher Opoku-Fordjour were included in the new selection.
