240 zł/hour cap and moonlighting ban – doctors warn of healthcare paralysis
Łukasz Jankowski, president of the Supreme Medical Council, warned that a proposed law capping doctors' pay at 240 zł per hour and banning work at multiple hospitals simultaneously will prompt workarounds rather than real change. He called it a window-dressing move that will remain fiction on paper. Doctors and hospital directors fear the reform will harm patients rather than improve the system.
