Minister Gawkowski: data of 19 million Poles stolen by cybercriminals

Digital Affairs Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski confirmed at a press conference that cybercriminals have obtained data on as many as 19 million Polish citizens. He urged people to immediately block their PESEL identification number to protect themselves from fraud. This is one of the largest personal data breaches publicly disclosed in Poland.
