Zoom screen-sharing flaw let attackers silently hijack devices – found by AI

Researchers from digital defence firm A Security disclosed a serious vulnerability in Zoom, discovered in early June using publicly available AI models in fewer than 20 prompts. The flaw affected the screen-sharing feature and allowed attackers to silently take over any call participant's device with no interaction required from the victim. Zoom has issued a security advisory and begun rolling out fixes.
