Nawrocki as "super-PM"? Scenario of presidential power grab ahead of 2027 elections

Political commentators are analysing a scenario in which President Karol Nawrocki — leveraging a senate pact — could become the de facto centre of power, eclipsing the future prime minister to emerge from the 2027 elections. Such a "super-PM" model would be unprecedented in Polish politics. The ambitions of right-wing party leaders may, however, pose a real obstacle to Nawrocki's dominance.
