US asked Ukraine not to strike oil tankers at Novorossiysk port

According to the Financial Times, Ukraine has refrained from striking oil tankers using Russia's Black Sea port of Novorossiysk at the request of the United States. The restriction does not apply to Russian military vessels. Ukrainian forces carried out new strikes on Novorossiysk overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday.
