Paris-Orly closes runway until December; over 3,000 flights cancelled or rerouted

Paris-Orly airport has closed runway number 4, located in the northern part of the airport, from 10 August to 17 December 2026 — a period of 18 weeks. More than 3,000 flights have been cancelled or transferred to another airport as part of a major infrastructure modernisation. All traffic is now handled by the two remaining runways.
