Poles' negative views of justice system hit new high under Tusk government

A June poll by state research agency CBOS found that 61% of Poles negatively assess the functioning of their justice system — up from 55% in 2022 and 51% in 2017, when the PiS government was in power. Only 26% hold a positive view, down from 36% in 2017. The findings are a setback for the Tusk government, which came to power promising to restore the rule of law.
