43,000 Canadians sign petition to expel US ambassador Pete Hoekstra

More than 43,000 Canadians have signed a petition calling for US ambassador Pete Hoekstra to be declared persona non grata in Canada. The House of Commons will address the petition when it resumes sitting in the autumn, amid growing tensions in Canada-US relations.
