ORP "Wicher" frigate to be launched — Poland's biggest naval upgrade

The frigate ORP "Wicher", the first of three new ships built under Poland's "Miecznik" programme, will be christened in Gdynia on Wednesday and launched the following day. The programme is the largest modernisation effort in Polish naval history, with a projected cost of around 15 billion złoty.
