Magnitude 3.1 earthquake strikes Lower Silesia in Poland

An earthquake measuring magnitude 3.1 struck Lower Silesia in southwest Poland in the early morning hours. The tremor was confirmed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). Lower Silesia is one of Poland's most seismically active regions.
