Romanowski reportedly in pro-Russian Transnistria, seeking safe-conduct letter
Unofficial reports indicate that former Deputy Justice Minister Marcin Romanowski is staying in Tiraspol, the capital of Transnistria — a Russian-backed breakaway region of Moldova. From there, the Law and Justice politician reportedly applied for a safe-conduct letter. Transnistria is a de facto separatist territory not recognised as independent by any UN member state.
