Tens of thousands of Canadians demand expulsion of US ambassador Pete Hoekstra

Tens of thousands of Canadians have signed a petition calling for the expulsion of US Ambassador Pete Hoekstra, accusing him of normalising the Trump administration's threats to annex Canada as the "51st state" and of maintaining contacts with separatists in Alberta. The petition will remain open until November.
