Child crime victims still forced to testify in regular courtrooms in Poland

Despite Poland having 48 million zloty per year to build child-friendly interview facilities, the Justice Ministry does not require their use. Child crime victims are still brought to regular courtrooms, where they may encounter their abusers, armed officers and handcuffed defendants. A ministry expert admitted the system is flawed and needs comprehensive reform.
