Solar eclipse and photovoltaics: grid operators ready for power output drop

European electricity grid operators have been preparing for months for the solar eclipse, which will temporarily reduce photovoltaic power output. Polish grid operator PSE's spokesman Maciej Wapiński said the drop in output in Poland will be minor. Operators have coordinated measures to ensure stable electricity supply during the event.
