Russia grows increasingly dependent on China since the Ukraine invasion

Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, cooperation between Moscow and Beijing has deepened significantly. According to the Centre for Eastern Studies, China supplies Russia with technologies and components while buying its raw materials. Although not a formal ally, China has become Russia's economic lifeline.
