Polish government avoids Church Fund reform ahead of elections

Prof. Maksymilian Stanulewicz of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań assessed that no political party in Poland is genuinely interested in reforming the Church Fund. He pointed out that parliamentary elections are a year away and the Catholic Church holds significant sway over voters. The issue, he said, remains in a political deadlock.
