EU limits "forever chemicals" in food packaging from Wednesday

The EU's regulation on packaging and packaging waste enters application from Wednesday. The first provisions to take effect set limits for PFAS substances — known as "forever chemicals" — in food packaging. The rules will ultimately cover all types of packaging across the EU single market.
