One in seven Poles may be a workaholic, research warns
Poles work an average of nearly 39 hours a week, one of the highest figures in the EU. Around 14% of Polish employees may show symptoms of workaholism, while 12% declare working more than 45 hours a week. Researchers note that workplaces often reward work addiction with bonuses and promotions, deepening the problem.
