Miastko hospital suspended surgery ward but kept operating for private firm

Miastko's municipal hospital suspended its surgery ward ten times, turning away its own patients, while a private neurosurgery company called Spine used the operating theatre. In 2024 alone, Spine's surgeons performed at least 458 procedures on the suspended ward. The National Health Fund says it was unaware the ward was suspended during those operations.
