Polish prosecutor union chief: governments use prosecutors as a tool but give nothing back

Jacek Skała, head of the Polish Prosecutors' Trade Union, criticises successive governments for using the prosecution service as a political tool while offering nothing in return. He says every ruling party treats prosecutors instrumentally and moves on without delivering genuine reform. Prosecutors are still waiting for meaningful changes to their independence and working conditions.
