Thailand suspends gun licences after deadly school shooting

Thailand has suspended firearms licences following last week's school shooting that left nine people dead. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul ordered the interior ministry and police to halt the issuing of licences to possess, purchase and carry firearms, and called for tighter controls and decisive penalties. The bodies of the teenage attacker and the grandparents he killed have been cremated.
