Cincinnati draw: Ostapenko faces Polish player, Williams drawn against Świątek
The WTA and ATP draws for the Cincinnati tournament have been made. Defending champion Iga Świątek, seeded, will begin from the second round, with Serena Williams as a possible opponent. Maja Chwalińska also enters in round two, while Magdalena Fręch, Magda Linette, Hubert Hurkacz and Kamil Majchrzak all start in the first round. Jelena Ostapenko is the first-round opponent for one of the Polish players.
