FAA hires over 2,000 video gamers as air traffic controllers

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has hired over 2,000 video gamers as air traffic controllers as part of an unconventional recruitment drive. The initiative was launched by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who argued that skills developed through video gaming translate well to air traffic control work.
