Crunchyroll acquires worldwide distribution rights to Makoto Shinkai's next film

Crunchyroll has acquired worldwide distribution rights — excluding Asia except India — to Makoto Shinkai's next animated feature film. Shinkai previously collaborated with Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures on the global distribution of Suzume. The film's title, plot and release date have not yet been disclosed.
