Flood-aid recipient in Lower Silesia calls criticism a "volcano of hate"
Questions have emerged over the allocation of flood-relief funds in Lower Silesia following an investigation by journalist Szymon Jadczak of Wirtualna Polska. Beneficiary Piotr Konieczyński, husband of the former head of the Karkonosze Regional Development Agency, gave evasive answers to TV Republika and did not explain how floodwater could have reached his hilltop property. He dismissed the controversy as a "volcano of hate."
