ChatGPT and Gemini each hit 1 billion monthly users

Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that Gemini has reached one billion monthly active users, making it Google's fastest-growing product ever and its 14th product to hit that milestone. OpenAI's ChatGPT has also crossed the one-billion-user mark. The two leading AI assistants have reached the milestone nearly simultaneously.
