Minister Berek to leave government for Constitutional Tribunal seat
Unofficial reports from Polityka Insight, Onet and OKO.press indicate that Minister Maciej Berek is set to become a judge of Poland's Constitutional Tribunal. Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that Berek had asked to be relieved of his ministerial duties. The nomination is uncertain, as Lewica parliamentary club leader Anna Maria Żukowska has expressed scepticism about his candidacy.
