Total solar eclipse on Aug. 12 visible across Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain

The only total solar eclipse of the year will occur on Wednesday, August 12. The path of totality will cross parts of Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain. It is the sole opportunity this year to witness a full solar eclipse in the Northern Hemisphere.
