Bumble drops women-message-first rule and extends reply window to 72 hours

Dating app Bumble is scrapping its signature rule that required women to send the first message, allowing either person to initiate a conversation. The platform is also extending the response window from 24 to 72 hours. The change removes the feature that had long set Bumble apart from rival dating apps.
