Deputy minister: Without Ukrainians, Poland's economy would halt in a day
Deputy Interior Minister Maciej Duszczyk said on Polish television that if all Ukrainians working in Poland were to simultaneously not show up for work, the country's economy would grind to a halt within a single day. He also criticised a PiS proposal to deport Ukrainian men of military age who are not working, calling it irresponsible. Duszczyk stressed the critical role Ukrainian workers play in the Polish labour market.
