Less than 2.5% of Taylor Farms' recalled lettuce went to Taco Bell
An FDA report has revealed that less than 2.5% of contaminated shredded iceberg lettuce recalled by Taylor Farms went to Taco Bell locations, despite the chain being the prime suspect. The lettuce, sourced from Mexico, is linked to a Cyclospora outbreak that has sickened over 23,000 people across 47 states, killing two and hospitalising more than 500. Taylor Farms has faced criticism for allegedly delaying its recall and refusing to clearly disclose distribution details.
