Kennedy Center ordered to pay $252,000 to jazz musician it sued after Trump rebrand

A judge has ordered the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. to pay jazz musician Chuck Redd $252,000 in legal fees after the venue's lawsuit against him was thrown out. Redd had pulled out of a concert following the Kennedy Center's rebranding to include Donald Trump's name. The court ruled against the institution and ordered it to cover Redd's legal costs.
