Brad Lightcap, OpenAI's long-serving COO, leaves to start something new

Brad Lightcap, one of OpenAI's longest-serving executives and its Chief Operating Officer, has announced his departure from the company. In a message to staff, he said he was "excited to help you all advance the mission from a different vantage point." Lightcap did not reveal what new venture he plans to pursue.
