Kennedy Center ordered to pay jazz musician Chuck Redd over $250,000 after Trump-naming dispute

A D.C. Superior Court judge has ordered the Kennedy Center to pay jazz musician Chuck Redd more than $250,000 in attorneys' fees and costs. Redd had backed out of a scheduled performance after Donald Trump's name was added to the arts institution, and the Kennedy Center sued him over the cancellation. Judge Tanya M. Jones Bosier ruled in Redd's favour.
